Background and Profile:

Mr. Hart received his B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1973, his M.A. from the University of Cincinnati in 1975 and his J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1980. His academic honors include Law Review membership, Phi Delta Phi membership and he received the American Jurisprudence Award.

Mr. Hart was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1980, the Ohio Bar in 1981, the bar for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1981, the bar for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in 1982, the bar for the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1985, and the bar for the United States Supreme Court in 1992. He is a member of the following bar associations: Erie and the Ottawa County Bar Associations, and the Ohio State and Texas Bar Associations.

Mr. Hart served on the Sandusky City Schools Board of Education and served as President for three years. He is a current member of the Grace Church Vestry, board member of the Sandusky Education Foundation and Fireland's Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Hart resides in Sandusky. He and his wife, Mary Ellen, have three adult children. He enjoys water skiing, golf, fishing, reading, spending time with his family, and travel.
