Born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio, Mark is a 2004 graduate of Perkins High School. He subsequently attended Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 2008. After his undergraduate studies, Mark attended the University of Toledo College of Law, where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2011. During law school, Mark interned with the Erie County Prosecutor’s Office where he litigated juvenile matters and assisted Prosecutors in trial.,

 

After his admission to the Ohio Bar, Mark was in private practice where he focused on civil and criminal litigation and estate planning. Mark joined the Erie County Prosecutor’s Office in 2016 as a civil prosecutor where he handled civil matters such as real estate and zoning issues, levies, tax foreclosures, contract issues, civil litigation and some appellate matters.

 

In 2018, Mark was admitted to the Georgia Bar and accepted an appointment to the Northern Judicial Circuit as an Assistant District Attorney, where he prosecuted criminal cases including drug trafficking, violent criminal street gangs, special victim crimes, public corruption and other serious felonies.

 

Mark joined Flynn, Py & Kruse Co., LPA in 2019 where he primarily focuses on litigation and family law.

 

When he is not spending his free time with his wife Kristin and their two children, Mark is an avid distance runner. He enjoys racing half and full marathon distances and frequents local races when time permits. He also enjoys Ohio State football and is a diehard Manchester United soccer fan.
